Adam is at 10,000 Lakes Music Festival… I miss him and I think Nolan does too. Tonight before it was time to go to bed, he was kind of whining and crawling around saying, “dada dada dada” in a real pitiful voice. I hope the guys are having a good time but …. I am ready for Adam to come home.

Lake Geneva
Adam, Nolan, Scotty, Dave, Jeanne, and I took a trip to Lake Geneva yesterday! We took Dave’s boat (still needs a name) and got there in the late afternoon. It was so much fun. We drove the boat around the perimeter and looked at the amazing houses. They are so beautiful and HUGE! Scotty did some watersking and on his 3rd attempt, he did a pretty great job. 4th of July Weekend...
We had a jam packed weekend! On the 4th we went to Chad & Amy’s house for a cookout. After eating and hanging out for awhile we walked to the river to watch the fireworks. Gretchen... She's Here... She's Gone!!!
Gretchen has a wedding to go to in Central Illinois so she added an extra day to the trip and visited Rockford for one night. Although it was a very short visit, we had a good time. We ate dinner on Dave & Jeanne’s patio and then hung out for a little while that night. Then we hung out for a little over an hour the next morning before she had to leave to get to the wedding events on...

WatchThis video is from June 10th, only the 2nd day Nolan said Mama. I was at work and still hadn’t heard it myself, so Adam took this video. I love it.
He now says Mama all of the time. He also says, “dada,” “papa,” and “bob” pretty frequently. And no, we don’t know where bob came from! ;)

Nolan will be 8 months on Tuesday… I can’t believe how fast everything is moving. He is doing all sorts of big guy things now…
We have now gotten through all of the baby food fruits & veggies I could find for him to try. He pretty much likes them all. He has his 2 bottom front teeth and enjoys to use them to bite on or shred things. One of his favorites is baby...
