Dave and Scotty treated Nolan, Jeanne, and I to a Marquette basketball game on December 5th. Even though Marquette lost, we had a lot of fun. Nolan really seemed to enjoy it. After the game we ate at a restaurant in Milwaukee called Cafe Centraal. It was seriously delicious. Here are some pictures we took…

Nolan had to bring his toy drill. He is really into “working.”

The cake my mom made for Nolan’s birthday party! It was AMAZING. The bottom was chocolate cake with a cheesecake filling. The top was white chocolate with a raspberry filling. She put a lot of time into this cake and it turned out so wonderful. Nolan still talks about it everyday. THANKS MOM! And also thanks to Mama Jennie (my grandma) who helped me paint all of the chocolate candies!
***Right after taking these pictures our camera went dead. So we didn’t take pics of Nolan’s party, but Kristi took a bunch. I will post some of those later!
We had Nolan’s birthday party a week after his birthday, but on his actually birthday we wanted to do something fun for him so we took him to Monkey Joe’s. It was a lot of fun to bounce around on all the stuff. He seemed to love it. Parent are only allowed on the bouncy things if they are helping a child 4 and under. It was funny because me, Adam, Jeanne, Dave, and Scott accompanied Nolan on the bouncy things. It was pretty exhausting but a lot of fun.

Scott and Jeanne trying it out.

Here comes Papa!
After Monkey Joe’s we went back to our house and had some pizza, cake, and some presents.

Offering some cake crumbs to Papa!

Nolan wanted to “help” daddy with the leaves. And by help, I mostly mean kick around and spread out the leaves Adam raked into a pile.
We took a trip to Riviera Maya Mexico for Rich & Kristi’s wedding and it was fabulous! It was hard to narrow down pictures to post (we took 400!!!), but here is a preview (still 20 pictures!).

This one view of our room. All the rooms were great!

The guys in the pool

Sitting by the pool in a little shade

There were 4 pools. This one had lounge chairs with massaging jets, built right into the pool.

One of the many outdoor hang out areas to choose from.

We loved our towel sculptures!

Katie and Andy… Katie was a trooper with her broken foot!

We told them to get together for a picture and this is how they posed.

Almost time… a picture like this with Rich pointing to his wrist, was taken at our wedding. We have laughed about our picture a bunch, and I thought we should recreate for Rich’s wedding day.

Beautiful day for a wedding on the beach.

Rich, Kristi, Adam, & I took a walk to Puerto Morelos.

So Pretty

Chad & Amy… This is the effect your camera does when you are in an air conditioned room and step out into like 500% humidity!

Before a REALLY good dinner.

Grilled Seafood Platter… My REALLY good dinner! ;)
